This is by far my most ambitious and expensive project to date. In order to ride 240 miles (386 KM) a day, I will need a support crew to help take care of my needs so i can keep moving forward on the bike. my biggest expenses are rv & car rentals, flights, lodging, gas, food, paying the crew, etc.
In 2024, I set the current women’s record of 108 days with a fully loaded bike and it was documented by my wife and professional photojournalist, Rugile kaladyte. we worked together to produce a daily podcast, share videos and photos on instagram and create a full lentgh film of my ride. we raised enough money to pay for our expenses and rugile worked for 108 days on the road and edited the film with no payment.
In 2o26, She is happy to do this again because she believes in me and what the project could mean to people, especially for women and girls. at this time in the world, we need something to look forward to. We may be dreamers but believe we can make this ride a reality. Rugile will be recording a daily podcast, documenting the ride with photos and videos (60-90 second daily video updates on instagram) and shooting for a full length film.
We’ve always believed in sharing our media with the public at no cost to the audience and hope we can continue this approach. While we are working with my bike sponsors to help raise funds, we can use your help. This is the first fundraiser i have ever done and rugile has created some “merch” available for purchase. All of the profits will go directly to help cover our expenses.
We have limited quantities of items and these will be updated as frequently as possible (we’ll share new product and restock updates on instagram). Rugile will be managing all of this from our home in tucson until the start of my ride on June 7th. while I am riding around the world, Rugile’s family will be helping with shipping from chicago.
